Introduction
Green Event Certification Scheme is designed to recognize and certify events that adhere to sustainable and environmentally friendly practices. This scheme is a collaborative initiative between The Green Earth and SGS, our technical partner, to ensure that events meet high standards of environmental stewardship. The certification process involves a thorough audit against a checklist of sustainability criteria. Events that successfully meet these criteria will be awarded a certificate and a badge, demonstrating their commitment to putting sustainability and environmental responsibility in action.

How to Get a Certificate for My Event?

Green Event Certification is designed to help event organizers assess and enhance the sustainability performance of their events. The certification process evaluates sustainable indicators across five key areas with approximately thirty questions, focusing on key areas that are crucial for minimizing environmental impact and promoting responsible practices.


Passing Score:
Any events that achieve a score of 50% or above are eligible for a Green Event Certificate.

Target Applicants
Target Applicants: Event organizers, Corporations, Organizations, NGOs
Types of Event: Carnivals, Conferences, Exhibitions, Festivals, Fundraising events, Charity events, etc.
Scale of Event: Any scales
Nature of Event: Physical participation
Event Date Requirements: Submit applications at least ONE MONTH before the event.
