Many event organizers who have participated in our program have expressed that our support is crucial for their events, and they believe that having reliable green partners is essential for success. 🔥💪🏻
Here are three reasons why you must join the “Events Go Green” waste reduction program 😍:
1️⃣ 🛠️ On-site Recycling Facility Support: “To achieve great things, one must have the right tools.” We provide a variety of recycling facilities and promotional items for events of all sizes. Many participants are familiar with our facilities and actively engage in recycling ♻️🫶🏻.
2️⃣ 📢 Green Ambassador Support for Education and Promotion: Our green event ambassadors are passionate about environmental protection ❤️. In addition to assisting with the operation of recycling stations 🏃🏻‍♀️🏃🏻, they also promote environmental messages to participants 💪🏻.
3️⃣ 📝 Consultation and Reporting Services for Green Events: We provide tailored green suggestions for your event ✅, saving you time. After the event, we offer reports and recommendations 👩🏻‍💼 to help you prepare for future events.
We look forward to more events incorporating green elements and collectively promoting a culture of sustainable events 💚. Green Earth has received funding from the Swire Trust to implement the “Project Rethink Plastics” initiative, enabling event organizers to access affordable environmental consulting, on-site recycling education and support, as well as post-event reporting and advice services 📑.
If you want to make your event greener, please ensure your event:
1️⃣ Takes place before August 31, 2025
2️⃣ Has approximately 300 participants or more
3️⃣ Is of any type (e.g., fundraising walks, carnivals, outdoor orientation, etc.)
4️⃣ Is a charity event organized by a non-profit organization
5️⃣ Is prioritized if it’s a new event
6️⃣ Aims to be more environmentally friendly

This time, we’re using the “#Streetathon2023” as a example to document the environmental support efforts behind the scenes. Whether you’re an event organizer or a participant, we invite you to join us in making Hong Kong the #GreenEventCapital! 🌟🌟

Have you ever considered that organising a trail activity can also receive comprehensive environmental support? With just a small cost, we can assist you from environmental planning, on-site support, to waste recycling, and even issue an environmental certificate for your event.

As long as you are willing to practice environmental sustainability, we will fully support you in collaboration with Patagonia Hong Kong!

Now is a opportune time. If Your event is:
1️⃣ Held in Hong Kong’s country park trails before October 31, 2025.
2️⃣ Scale of approximately 300 to 1,000 participants.
3️⃣ Type is not limited (e.g., trail walking, outdoor orientation, etc.).
4️⃣ Charitable events organized by non-profit organizations (priority will be given to those that have not previously received green event support from TGE).

Our program includes the following three environmental support measures:

1️⃣ Green Event Consultation and Support
Provide environmental advisory recommendations for organizers.
On-site environmental education and recycling support on the event day.
2️⃣ Assist in Achieve Green Events Certification
We will assist the organizing unit in passing the SGS on-site audit to obtain the Green Events Certification Programme certificate.
3️⃣ Co-organise Trail Clean-up
Co-organise a trail clean-up event with the organiser, inviting your participants and volunteers to join in the action of protecting the trails.

・Green or sustainability team members in your organization

・Any volunteer group interested in learning more about Green Event
